Wallpaper resolutions

Hi,
I’m wondering about the correct resolutions of wallpapers. There are a lot of different sizes on the internet and also here at debianart. A list: 640 x 480 768 x 576 800 x 600 1024 x 768 # 1152 x 864 1280 x 960 1280 x 1024 # 1400 x 1050 1600 x 1200 # 2048 x 1536 I have marked some, which seem to be appropriate for most users. Do you think this is correct? Do you have additions? Thanks! |

i would recommend some widescreen resolution…
for 4:3 1024x768 1280x1024 1600x1200 and for 16:10 1280x800 1680x1050 although i don’t think 1600x1200 is common, is it? but it’s a nice and big resolution for 4:3… |
